Awards Day will take place this Friday, May 24th at 9:00 a.m. in the Willard gymnasium. On this day, we will honor Willard students for their many accomplishments this year. We often get questions about the prestigious Presidential Awards that are given out to our fifth grade students. At this point, all families of those receiving the awards this year have been contacted via telephone. Below are the criteria for determining who receives the awards: GOLD -90% or better average on 4th grade semester 1 grades and semester 2 grades -90% or better average on 5th grade semester 1 grades -Pass + on ISTEP+ SILVER -85% or better average on the 4th grade semester 1 grades and semester 2 grades -85% or better average on 5th grade semester 1 grades -ISTEP+ score of 500 or better *Grade averages are determined per semester by adding grades for each subject and dividing by the number of grades/subjects. *A student must meet each requirement to receive the award.
