This week wrapped our caught card winners for the 1st semester of school. We had 2 "big" drawings this week! Our first drawing was for a 2nd quarter prize. The other drawing was for the 1st semester prize (we added all the caught cards from quarter 1 back into the bin).
Caroline is your 2nd quarter caught card winner. Caroline was caught "helping clean up the lunch cards that Mrs. Hersberger accidentally dropped on the floor". Caroline won 25 Pride Punch Cards. Caroline can use these to shop in our Willard PRIDE Store. Thanks for being awesome Caroline.
Up next is your 2nd semester caught card winner, Charleigh! Charleigh was caught "helping another student (who was absent the previous day) catch up on missing work in their reading notebook." Charleigh won a $25 gift card to Walmart. Thanks for being awesome, Charleigh!

This past week the Willard Student Council hosted their annual canned food drive. Our students absolutely knocked it out of the ballpark this year! They donated 3629 canned and non-perishable items! These kids never cease to amaze us with their generosity and care for the community. We would like to give a big shout out to our student council for all of the work they put into counting, organizing, and boxing up all of those items. Great work Warriors!
Javion was last week's Caught Card Winner! Javion was caught by Mrs. Acker for helping a classmate with his lunch when he needed assistance. Javion took the initiative to do this without being asked.
